A little about the project
For this travel magazine project, I designed a cover and a multi-page spread about Jackson Hole, Wyoming. I focused on the relationship between bold headlines, photography, and the smaller details that make a page comfortable to read.

Inside the magazine
Give the reader a way in.
A large headline creates the first point of entry. From there, a consistent grid, smaller headings, and carefully spaced body text guide the reader across the spread. I used paragraph styles and text frames to keep the typography consistent.
Designing for print
The details beyond the screen.
I worked through margins, bleed, image resolution, leading, and tracking as part of preparing the layout. This project helped me think about how a design changes when it becomes something you can hold.
