The Sushi Spot
A restaurant brand, from the sign to the menu.
A little about the project
The Sushi Spot is a restaurant concept I created for a casual, social dining experience. I wanted the identity to feel welcoming to someone grabbing sushi with friends, with enough personality to carry from a storefront into the smaller details.

The identity
Warm colors. A little personality.
Orange and yellow give the identity warmth, while charcoal adds contrast. The illustrated mark and expressive headline type make the brand playful; more structured type keeps the useful information easy to read.
At the table
The menu is part of the brand, too.
I carried the visual identity into the menu and supporting pieces. The challenge was keeping that energy while making categories, item names, and prices easy to navigate.
The small details
A mark that can travel.
A simple application on a napkin shows how the symbol can stand on its own, without needing the entire menu or storefront around it.
